Our engineers can beat up their engineers

So many (alas, so very many) companies have entered the world of aftermarket seat belt manufacturing. They buy some sewing machines, put some seatbelts on a tensile tester, and call them good. We know we are seat belt nerds, but if there were a seat belt quiz show, it wouldn't be a fair fight. Ask any other seat belt supplier about stitches per inch, buckle abrasion, tilt-lock, or adjustment force. Then watch their eyes glaze over or watch them go running for the federal standards to look it up. The fact is, we don't have to look it up. We already know. We live, eat and breath this stuff every day.
