The customer informs us there are still a lot of these Mercedes Benz SL's (termed "107 chassis" and built relatively unchanged from 1972 to 1989) around. Additionally, more and more are undergoing restoration/refurbishment every day. It's very common for the seatbelts to be pretty chewed up as a consequence of the seat design. While the OE belt is still available from dealers, they run about $600 each!


As you can see from this project, the Seat belt Doctor was able to keep the original hardware but make it look great again with new webbing professionally installed.
